These terms describe how you may use this website and what the information on it means. They are written in plain language and are not legal advice. If you need advice about your rights, speak with a lawyer.
What this site is
The pages on this site are general information about plumbing and about Millbrae Pro Plumbing. They are meant to help you understand a problem and decide what to do. They are not a diagnosis of your plumbing, and they are not a quote or an offer to do work at any price.
Articles describe common situations. Your house may differ. Please do not treat a guide as a substitute for a plumber who can see the actual pipes.
Prices and agreements
We do not post prices on this site. A price for any job is set by phone or in person, before work starts, after we understand the problem. You may accept or decline that price. Work begins only after you agree.
If the job turns out to be different from what we could see at the start, we will tell you before doing anything that changes the price.
Your safety
If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 and your gas utility. Do not use this site as a guide in an emergency that puts people at risk. Call 911 for fire, injury or danger to life.
Permits and licensing
Some plumbing work needs a permit, and the Millbrae Building Division handles plumbing permits. You can verify any plumbing contractor's license with the state contractor licensing board. These notes are general and do not replace advice about your own project.
Links and maps
This site links to outside pages and embeds Google Maps. We do not control those, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Limits on liability
We try to keep the information on this site accurate, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or current. To the extent the law allows, Millbrae Pro Plumbing is not liable for losses that come from relying on the general information on this site. This does not limit anything that the law says cannot be limited, and it does not change the terms of work agreed between us in person or by phone.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about them would be handled in the courts that serve San Mateo County, California.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest update. Questions can go to the address on our contact page, or to our office at 166 N Rollins Rd, Millbrae, CA 94030.
